Devon cap rebuild

This leaked like a sieve and the previous owners in it's life had tried, mastick, paint, silicon sealant, fibre glass and bitumen. Still leaked.

So .....

a new sheet of aluminium, painted in a special metals primer.bbCode image

rubbed back the outer frame so no flaky stuff left and painted for weather protection.

put the two together to scribe the corners

holes drilled for stainless steel m5's with nylocs

New non leaky roof.

The lifting struts were in a bad way with all the paint flaking off and rust everywhere.

took them apart, got them sandblasted. Re-painted and re-greased.
